After a long break, I’ve finally made my way back to the game I love.
My first run began about 20 years ago, playing on a Ukrainian server called AOP (which is still alive, btw).
I started playing in computer game clubs with friends and still remember the process of creating my first character. I played a lot and even became a guild master before I quit. Honestly, I’m not proud of how much time I spent playing UO, but on the other hand, a lot of great memories come from my time in the UO world.
I decided to come back to UO because no other games seem to hook me anymore.
At first, I was going to try one of the more popular servers, but when I found out that AOP is still alive, I decided to start there from scratch. The online population is a lot lower than it was 20 years ago, but who cares?
This time around, the server admins were kind enough to hook me up with some resources to help me get my character started. Now all that’s left is to set up some macros and dive back into PvP and PvM.
